The organisation:

This is a lovely organisation which supports and helps out families during difficult times. The organisation is based in Hertfordshire and they are looking for a new Communications Officer who will work directly alongside the Communications Manager. This role is a broad communications role with a strong digital component that requires some flexibility to travel around the local area. This is a fast moving role so please apply ASAP as not to miss out. 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage social media channels, maintaining a regular calendar of digital content, and engaging with supporters
  • Support the managers of the organisations retail shops to reach and engage new donors and customers
  • Manage the promotion of fundraising campaigns and events
  • Write and design case studies and communications assets
  • Develop and manage working relationships with creative agencies, printers and freelancers to deliver high quality printed materials, on time and within budget


Person specification:

 

  • Experience managing social media channels
  • Confident self-starter
  • Excellent planning, time-management and organisational skills
  • Be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Not for Profit sector experience is desirable

 

What's on offer:

This a full-time hybrid role with 40% of the time working in the office based in in Welwyn Garden City and 60% remote working.
