The Talent Set are excited to be working with an awesome health charity who are looking for a Content Manager to join their team for a FTC until May 2023.

As the Content Manager you will manage the production  and evaluation of the charity’s health advice content across their websites and print. You will be responsible for managing large-scale content projects, working collaboratively with other teams and external stakeholders.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Taking ownership of the continual review and improvement of the charity’s health advice content across website and print.
  • Ensure content is fit for purpose, accessible and optimised for search
  • Manage a team on 3, supporting them to deliver high-quality work, providing effective line management and maximizing their contribution.
  • Ensure website is coherent and functional for users, implementing good content design, accessibility standards and general web functionality.
  • Review and approve content for other teams, ensuring it is in line with agreed quality assurance standards and is written in an engaging and accessible way.

 

Person specification:

  • Demonstrable experience in developing consumer advice, ideally in a healthcare context.
  • Excellent editing, writing and proof-reading skills
  • Previous line management experience, including supporting direct reports for work planning, objective setting and performance evaluation
  • Strong digital skills e.g., managing website pages, SEO and digital content design.
  • Strong planning and project management skills
  • Understanding of the importance of robust quality assurance processing and health information standards
  • Experience in developing content that requires input from expert stakeholders such as example researchers and clinicians.

 

What’s on offer?

This is a full-time contract role until the end May 2023. Offering a salary of £40,000-£44,000. The organisations offers a hybrid working option with 1 or 2 days a week in their central London office.
