The Talent Set are excited to be working with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) to find their new Digital Executive.

To achieve this vision, they are working to provide insightful leadership, relevant learning and a valued membership proposition to maintain and grow an engaged membership.

We are looking for a proactive digital specialist with proven experience of delivering email marketing and managing web editorial/content. You will have the ability to commission, edit and create engaging and inspiring copy for email and web, as well as the ability to use analytics to drive the direction of content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Successfully create and execute all membership email marketing.
  • Lead on the maintenance and development of membership pages across various websites.
  • Provide analysis, support, and reports on email campaigns and membership web activity.
  • Draft, implement, maintain and revise copy relevant to membership communications.
  • Ensure brand guidelines are consistently applied across all relevant channels
  • Build effective working relationships with 1) central marketing teams 2) central digital teams 3) other key stakeholders across the organisation

Person specification:

  • Experienced user of email marketing software (eg DotDigital, MailChimp or Dynamic 365) and a website CMS (eg Umbraco or WordPress).
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills across both email and web performance.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, planning, prioritising, implementing and delivering to a busy schedule and as part of a wider collaborative team environment.
  • Confident advising colleagues on creating and scheduling communications plans which revolve around email and web.

CII offers a flexible and hybrid work pattern and are open to hearing what work pattern would work for this person.  The position is permanent, paying £36,000-£40,000.
