We’re delighted to be partnering with Wood Green, an animal charity to support them with the recruitment of Digital Fundraising Manager.

Wood Green is now one of the largest pet charities in the UK, alongside animal care and rehoming services they help thousands of pet owners with advice, support, and training.  The charity has also been featured on Channel 4s the Dog House, which is a great programme!

As part of a programme to deliver an ambitious step-change in Wood Green’s digital fundraising, they are looking to add to the Income and Innovation Directorate by recruiting a Digital Fundraising Manager to focus on Email and Content Marketing.
 

We’re looking for a Digital Fundraising Manager with strong experience in email marketing and eCRM, who is comfortable planning and analysing journeys and responses as well as crafting email, website or social media copy to ensure the best possible levels of engagement and action.

As the Digital Fundraising Manager you will be responsible for the following:

  • Support with the development, management, implementation and review of the annual digital fundraising strategy, budget and campaigns.
  • Deliver successful email and eCRM marketing plans for the Income and Innovation Directorate.
  • Support the Senior Digital Fundraising Programme Manager with the development and implementation of suitable supporter activation and retention journeys that safeguard donor income and increase LTV across the Directorate.
  • Ensure the Directorate’s email campaigns and communications comply with current industry best-practice and meet standards within GDPR and PECR.
  • Deliver campaigns to recruit and retain supporters through email marketing, digital content and social media, working from inception through delivery to analysis and learnings. 
  • Work collaboratively with our partner agencies
  • Work closely with the Fundraising Managers to plan, schedule and manage day-to-day social media activity to support fundraising campaigns and supporter retention.
  • Create  high-performing, digital content for use in email, on Wood Green websites and on social media with the aim of engaging, retaining and converting supporters

To be successful in this role you will have substantial experience of developing and implementing digital fundraising and other income-generating campaigns, extensive experience of developing and delivering key messages to a variety of audiences through email, organic social media and digital content, impressive ability to write and edit highly engaging fundraising copy across online channels (email, website, paid ads), with demonstrable skills in being clear and concise and significant experience of managing multiple stakeholders, including external agency partners and internal campaign owners.
