Digital Lead

Heather Burch
Senior Charity Specialist
T: 07467 820496

We are excited to be recruiting a great Digital lead role for a health charity based in London.  This is a new role born from a restructure in the engagement, marketing and communications team but also supports ambitions for growth.  Digital is the main channel to support their beneficiaries at scale and a vital way of engaging opinion formers, campaigners and supporters, so this is a really key role for the organisation at this time.

The Digital Lead is being recruited initially on a 2 year contract to focus on two main areas,

  • Firstly having overall responsibility for digital activity across the organisation, developing the current digital programme and managing the current team (the current team is two people but this is likely to expand)
  • Secondly help to refine and implement a new digital roadmap for the charity in context of the annual plan and longer organisational strategy.

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience of running a digital function within an organisation
  • Experience of line management
  • Experience of developing and implementing digital strategies including all channels of SEO, SEM content marketing, owned social, paid social PPC and email.
  • Experience of analysing performance data
  • Experience of developing online elements of a customer and supporter journey.

Ideally your experience will lie in the charity sector and you will have understanding of digital fundraising techniques as well..

To be considered for this position please apply with your CV as soon as possible, regrettably please note we may not be able to reply to each and every application.

We are committed to diverse and inclusive recruitment practices that ensure equal opportunity for everyone, regardless of race, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, age or gender.
