Email Marketing Executive

The Talent Set are excited to be working with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) to find their new Email Marketing Executive.

The Email Marketing Executive is responsible for developing and tracking email campaigns to increase email marketing success, with a particular focus on students and member acquisitions

The successful candidate will be responsible for organically growing email lists, managing the segmentation of customer groups and managing email campaigns including template design, call-to-action, content, scheduling and delivery.  Tracking, measuring and reporting will also be an important part of this role, ensuring that you are optimising the customer experience.

Key skills include:

• Strong understanding of developing and delivering email marketing campaigns, as well as monitoring and evaluating performance
• Ability to create email templates and content that will engage the student population in particular
• Detailed understanding of audience segmentation
• Create automated campaigns that align with the customer lifecycle and journey
• Good understanding of CRM email trends and new channel opportunities
• Expert knowledge of GDPR

The successful candidate will possess:

• Can create email campaigns, preferably in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (but not essential)
• Expert at monitoring and evaluating customer journey and trigger points in an email journey
• An understanding of the student population would be ideal
• Excellent understanding of email metrics
• Strong written/design abilities
• Agency management, ability to manage multiple projects

CII offers a flexible and hybrid work pattern and are open to hearing what work pattern would work for this person. The position is permanent, paying £33,000-£36,000.
