The Talent Set is delighted to be partnering with a wonderful professional membership body in their search for a new Head of Marketing and Digital to lead their multi-disciplinary team.
This pivotal role will drive the coordination of marketing, digital and communications activity across the organisation, developing and delivering national campaigns and key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage marketing, digital, and content teams to deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement integrated B2C and B2B marketing strategies that promote the organisations services, events, training, and membership.
  • Oversee digital campaigns and website development projects, working with CMS platforms like Umbraco, WordPress, or Drupal.
  • Manage external suppliers and foster strong internal and stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensure consistent brand and content direction across all channels (digital and print).
  • Monitor and report on performance using tools such as Google Analytics, driving insight-led improvements.
  • Champion innovation, including the adoption of AI and emerging digital tools.

Person Specification:
We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced marketing professional with:
  • Strong expertise across digital and traditional marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing (e.g. Zoho), and website optimisation.
  • Excellent copywriting, editorial, and visual communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and design.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, people, and deadlines with strong organisational skills.
  • Confident interpreting data and analytics to drive decisions and define KPIs.
  • Skilled in tailoring messages to the right audiences using effective distribution channels.
  • A collaborative and influential communicator, comfortable working with internal teams, stakeholders, and senior leaders.
  • Experience in brand management and applying brand consistency across multiple platforms and audiences.
  • Technically savvy, with an interest in digital innovation and understanding of compliance, legal and reputational considerations.
