Interim Communications Manager

The organisation:

We are excited to be partnered with a wonderful children’s development charity to help find their next Interim Communications Manager. This role is a 6–9-month contract.

As the Interim Communications Manager you will communicate the charity’s new strategy to their diverse partners and stakeholders and provide additional support to produce and develop communication materials for flagship projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Help develop and refine the messaging for different audience segments
• Produce communications materials and assets which can be used with a variety of different stakeholders
• Develop and execute sector specific press-focused media plan to get their messages out to key audiences
• Manage and update their communications grid, including key external events/opportunities.
• Provide support to colleagues to develop communications to Major funders.
• Produce long form copy which can be reused in a variety of ways i.e. for online articles, content for e-newsletters and social media posts.

Person specification:

· Strong stakeholder management experience

· Experience in creating compelling press releases

· The ability to provide expert advice and shape strategies

· Experience in communications strategy

· Experience in managing digital campaigns

• Developing and executing marketing and communicating strategies
• Providing high level strategic advice around communications and marketing
• The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

What's on offer:

This a full-time role offering a salary of £45,000 - £47,000. The role is hybrid with a minimum of two days in their southwest London office.  This is a 6-9-month contract.
