Role Overview
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with a leading educational organisation looking for a fantastic interim Marketing Manager. This position offers an opportunity to lead innovative marketing strategies that enhance the the organisations brand and student recruitment efforts, making a significant impact on the organisation’s growth and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deputise for the Director as needed, representing the team both internally and externally.
  • Develop, execute, and assess integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, event, and other channels aligned with the college’s strategic goals.
  • Oversee digital marketing activities, including advertising campaigns, SEO, website content strategies, and utilisation of the CRM system for marketing and recruitment.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and partners to support brand development and campaign delivery.
  • Ensure brand consistency through all marketing materials and platforms; contribute to the college’s overarching brand strategy.
  • Analyse campaign performance data to optimise marketing effectiveness and ROI.
  • Manage marketing budgets efficiently, ensuring activities stay within financial parameters.
  • Maintain and oversee marketing assets such as imagery, merchandise, and exhibition equipment.
  • Stay informed of current marketing trends, especially within the education sector, identifying avenues for innovation.
  • Collaborate closely with curriculum, admissions, and student services to support college-wide objectives and recruitment targets.
  • Support and undertake additional duties as required by the Director.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience in developing and managing comprehensive marketing campaigns, ideally within the education sector (HE or FE)
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, content management, and CRM utilisation.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to analyse data, draw insights, and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Capability to manage budgets effectively and deliver projects within financial constraints.
  • Proactive, innovative, and adaptable with a customer-focused approach.

What’s on Offer
Salary: £50,000–£52,000 (day rate inside IR35), 3 month initial with view to extend.
