I am currently working with a fantastic, agile and inclusive London University to recruit a Marketing & Recruitment Manager.  This position will help to establish recruitment priorities and marketing opportunities across a range of students segments, and would suit a candidate with broad marketing skills, proven experience within student recruitment campaigns and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Lead on the development of the marketing plan, generating awareness and a pipeline of enquiries and leads to support student recruitment
  • Manage marketing activity across schools and colleges, community and digital advertising
  • Deliver marketing strategy aimed at student recruitment, ensuring targets are met
  • Through insights gained, deliver audience-specific tactics to engage prospective students 

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • Worked in a higher education environment or education related sector
  • Experience of developing and managing integrated marketing strategies utilising the full mix and achieving commercial targets
  • Strong project management skills – ability to manage simultaneous projects, complex relations, multiple deadlines and a number of stakeholders and agencies
  • Proven experience managing senior stakeholders and showing strong evidence of a diplomatic approach through negotiations.
  • Knowledge of CRM, audience segmentation and how to optimise the student journey

This is a 12 month FTC (with the option of going permutant), full-time role paying £38,000-£44,000.  This will be a hybrid role with some time in the office (2 days/week) and some time remote.
