Mass Participation Fundraising Officer

The Talent Set are excited to be working a fantastic Homelessness Organisation to find their new Mass Participation Fundraising Officer.

This role offers a wonderful flexible working environment and is offered as a hybrid role with an expectation to be in the London office 2 days a week.

We are looking for a skilled fundraiser to support the organisation’s national mass participation fundraising programmes, consisting of community and events fundraising. The post holder will support the delivery of the organisation’s mass participation fundraising strategy by focusing on working within the community fundraising programme, through building strong relationships with supporters and developing engaging stewardship of community fundraisers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage and steward mass participation fundraisers, supporting them with their fundraising activities, answering queries and building strong relationships that encourage retention
• Support the development and delivery of new and existing mass participation fundraising products and initiatives, including community fundraising products, both organisation owned, third party challenge events, and virtual events
• Manage admin processes, including thanking fundraisers, processing income, updating the Raiser’s Edge database, stock checking and sending out resources
• Support the delivery of targets across the mass participation fundraising team
• Manage the development of fundraising resources needed for mass participation fundraisers, products and events

Person specification:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent face-to-face relationship skills & management
• Ability to work independently, co-operatively and as an effective team member
• Ability to communicate clearly, be supportive and motivational to fundraisers
• Experience of developing supporter or customer care relationships
• Experience in fundraising
