Policy Officer

Role Overview
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with our client on a fantastic Policy Officer role. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and analysis of impactful policies within the professional membership sector, supporting organisational priorities and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform policy development.
  • Draft clear, concise policy documents, briefs, and reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather insights and feedback.
  • Monitor policy trends and developments relevant to the sector.
  • Support two-way communication around policy initiatives and organisational priorities.
  • Assist in the organisation of consultations, workshops, and engagement events.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organisational standards.

Person Specification

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to produce accessible reports.
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret complex information and present findings effectively.
  • Proven organisation and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and external environments.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.

What’s on Offer
£138-£147 per day PAYE + Holiday Pay (Inside IR35 day rate).
