The Talent Set are happy to be working with a fantastic social enterprise to find their new PR Executive.

This role offers a fantastic flexible working environment and is offered as a hybrid role with the expectation to be in their London office 2 days a week.

The PR Executive will help to support the PR Team in activities across all its audiences (B2C & B2B). Principal duties include proactive and reactive media engagement and media monitoring and evaluation.  The role will be part of a collaborative and supportive PR/Communications team, reporting into the PR Manager.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the press inbox, triaging, and responding in a timely manner to media enquiries
  • Organise media interviews, briefing materials and support the briefing in of spokespeople to help build organisation’s reputation
  • Build and monitor media databases and update these contact lists regularly to ensure press materials reach target audiences
  • Create daily news bulletins for internal stakeholders
  • Support in pitching individual stories over the phone, email and in person to journalists from domestic and international markets to achieve high quality press coverage
  • Undertake research to assist with the development and implementation of team projects as required

Person specification:

  • Excellent communication skills – verbal & written - with the ability to engage credible journalists
  • Maintain relationships with key external PR agencies, stakeholders and key internal departments
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Strong digital and IT skills
  • Creative thinker and problem-solver
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of media landscape

This is a permanent role, paying £30,600.
