Overview
The Talent Set are delighted to be partnering with a growing membership organisation on a fantastic Senior Fundraising Manager role. This pivotal position involves leading strategic income growth through partnerships, grants, and supporter engagement, supporting impactful work in the healthcare community and fostering innovative funding approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a multi-year fundraising strategy aligned with organisational goals, prioritising new income streams and diversification.
- Secure and manage corporate partnerships within the health, pharmaceutical, and life sciences sectors, ensuring meaningful engagement and long-term relationships.
- Cultivate relationships with trusts and foundations, preparing compelling proposals and reports to support funding targets.
- Oversee and enhance individual giving programmes, including member donations, digital campaigns, and supporter-driven initiatives.
- Lead fundraising activities related to key events such as the organisation’s flagship congress and awareness campaigns.
- Monitor financial performance, conduct regular reporting to senior leadership, and maintain responsible budget management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to embed a culture of philanthropy, integrating fundraising messages into communications and membership engagement.
Person Specification
- Significant experience in high-level fundraising, business development, or strategic partnerships within the charity, health, or education sectors.
- Proven ability to secure impactful gifts, grants, or partnership income at five- and six-figure levels.
- Strong relationship management skills, with a talent for influencing and negotiating with senior stakeholders, including external partners and internal teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to craft persuasive proposals and reports.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate plans into actionable outcomes and deliver measurable results.
- Demonstrates collaborative, adaptable, and ethical working behaviours within fast-paced or matrix environments.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, data analysis, and fundraising regulations, including data protection standards.
