Mencap currently generates approximately £15 million in fundraising income annually, with around £9 million net contribution.
The ambition now is to significantly increase fundraising performance and ultimately grow net income, creating greater capacity to support people and families across the UK.
The opportunity for growth exists across multiple fundraising disciplines, which will be reinforced by greater attention to the fundraising strategy and operations that underpin the function.
Mencap has a strong proposition and a compelling cause that resonates deeply with supporters. There is significant scope to build on existing relationships, strengthen fundraising disciplines and unlock greater philanthropic investment.
