Role Overview:
The Talent Set is excited to be working with one of our favourite higher education clients as they search for an Admissions Officer to support them for an exciting 4 week period (initially)
The Admissions Officer will support in a critical role in managing the full cycle of the admissions process, from enquiry through to enrolment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process domestic and international applications for various levels of study, ensuring compliance with institutional, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Verify applicant documents, check qualifications and confirm identities.
- Issue Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) letters for eligible international applicants in line with visa requirements.
- Deliver high-quality customer service via phone and email, addressing applicant queries with accurate and supportive guidance.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with academic staff and external partners, providing admissions-related support.
- Coordinate applicant interviews and offer logistical and advisory support to applicants and interviewers, including any necessary adjustments.
- Manage a personal caseload independently while supporting wider team goals and meeting key admissions deadlines.
- Remain current with admissions policies, international qualifications, and relevant guidance from regulatory bodies such as UKCISA and UKVI.
- Evaluate applicant fee status according to national guidelines and criteria.
- Monitor application data and analyse trends to support recruitment targets, preparing reports for internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in student databases and CRM systems to support reporting and compliance.
- Represent the institution at recruitment and admissions events (e.g. open days, enrolment), offering advice and information to prospective students and their families.
- Undertake additional tasks as required, contributing to the overall success of the admissions function through collaborative teamwork.
Person specification:
- Must have CAS Issuance experience.
- Able to hit the ground running and pick things up quickly.
- Proficiency with IT tools, particularly MS Office and databases.
What’s on Offer:
- A salary of £36,237 on a day rate for the successful candidate.
- A flexible hybrid working pattern is on offer with 2-3 days per-week in the organisations London Offices.
