Role Overview:
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with our client on a fantastic Business Support Officer role. This position involves providing comprehensive administrative support to the External Relations directorate, ensuring efficient operations and fostering productive stakeholder relationships within a leading health charity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer professional administrative assistance, including acting as a point of contact for queries and signposting as needed.
  • Organise and facilitate meetings by preparing agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring follow-up on actions.
  • Manage financial administration tasks such as submitting expense claims, raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and handling related requests.
  • Engage with stakeholders across various levels, facilitating effective communication and fostering collaborative relationships.
  • Support the External Relations Leadership Team and Directorate meetings by preparing documentation, documenting decisions, and tracking actions.
  • Contribute to the wider business support function by participating in projects and providing assistance to other senior team members as required.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes and utilise digital tools to enhance efficiency and teamwork.

Person Specification:
  • Experience supporting a team or senior executive, with proven organisational and administrative capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, enabling effective engagement across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong administrative skills, including minute-taking, preparing presentations, and managing multiple priorities with resilience.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines with limited supervision.
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining constructive relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working within a modern digital environment, effectively using digital tools to support collaborative working.
  • Ability to support and monitor team plans, work cooperatively to achieve milestones, and adapt to changing priorities.

What’s on Offer:
  • Salary: £117.28 per day plus £17.59 daily holiday allowance
  • Location: London – Hybrid
  • Contract: Until the end of the year
