I am on the lookout for a Communications Manager for a reputable healthcare client of mine to start ASAP on a 12 month contract. NHS sector experience is a must.
Some of the responsibilities include:
Help develop and implement communications plans for key projects across the organisation
Supporting on crucial events programmes and scanning for industry events, awards and PR opportunities
Owning and managing key stakeholder relationships helping identify key collaborative working opportunities
Content creation - full mix comms experience here with news, blogs, videos and social media campaigns
Help commission and manage external agency relationships
Full mix general comms responsibilities (internal and external) including media relations.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
Experience developing communications and engagement strategies
Ability to deliver across a wide range of channels - web, social, media etc
Understanding a range of ways to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders and organisations
NHS/health communications experience
Excellent at managing multiple projects and any experience with patient communications and community is desirable
This is a 12 month contract starting ASAP in London offering 2 days a week in the office. The salary is paying between £48,000-61,000 depending on candidate experience.
