Communications Manager
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with a brilliant, young people focused, on a fantastic Communications Manager role. This senior-level position offers a unique opportunity to lead media partnership projects, develop impactful content, and strengthen internal and external relationships within the charity sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing high-pressure content delivery and supporting strategic communications initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate traditional media campaigns, including forging partnerships with newspapers and publishing houses.
- Identify compelling stories and build relationships with individuals willing to share their experiences on camera and in other formats.
- Manage the commissioning, production, and budgeting of film and multimedia content, supporting storytelling efforts.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including digital and communications staff, to deliver engaging content, especially in resource-limited environments.
- Support on content creation, ensuring timely delivery in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
- Foster positive relationships with external partners, including celebrity managers, to facilitate filming and content development.
- Work alongside project and account managers to ensure client satisfaction and alignment with project objectives.
- Contribute to broader communications strategy, focusing on youth engagement and partnership development.
Person Specification
- Proven experience in traditional media, storytelling, and content commissioning within a media or charity environment.
- Ability to manage projects from inception through to delivery, including budgeting and scheduling.
- Strong relationship-building skills, capable of engaging internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Comfortable managing high-pressure deadlines and delivering quality content swiftly.
- Experience working with multimedia production, including film, video, and digital content.
- Skilled in partnership development and collaborating across teams to achieve objectives.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a proactive approach to work.
What’s on Offer
Day Rate: £158.10 Per Day + £23.72 holiday pay
