The Talent Set is delighted to partner with the Global Infrastructure Investor Association to recruit a Communications Officer. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to shape the organisation’s voice, champion its mission to close the global infrastructure gap, and strengthen its reputation through strategic and creative communications. You’ll craft compelling content, engage diverse audiences, and deliver impactful campaigns that bring the organisation’s work to life, ensuring consistent and inspiring messaging across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and manage engaging content across digital, print, social media, podcasts, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Manage the website and web  content
  • Design eye-catching assets (e.g., Canva graphics) and deliver creative communications that raise awareness and strengthen engagement.
  • Develop and deliver multi-channel campaigns that increase visibility, support advocacy, and promote the organisation’s mission.
  • Monitor, manage, and respond to   member and stakeholder enquiries, ensuring clear, consistent, and on-brand messaging.
  • Support  communications for, events, and stakeholder outreach to build strong connections and foster engagement.
  • Ensure all communications align with brand guidelines, reflect organisational values, and are accessible to diverse audiences.
Person Specification
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience creating engaging content across digital, print, and social media.
  • Experience in a content-focused role ideally within a small organisation or values-led environment.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Confident using digital communication tools and platforms, including Canva, video/podcast  editing software, and email marketing tools.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to work across teams and engage a wide range of stakeholders.
  • An interest in infrastructure, engineering, geopolitics, and/or sustainability is an asset

What’s on Offer
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum
There is also a generous benefits package including potential annual bonus, flexibility and the opportunity to work a 9 day fortnight.
