Our client, a reputable charity organization, is seeking a dedicated Community Fundraiser to join their team. This vital role involves developing and executing fundraising strategies to engage the community, increase awareness, and secure vital funds for ongoing projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact and skilled in building relationships within diverse communities.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in fundraising or development roles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and event-planning abilities
• Ability to motivate and engage stakeholders
• Proficiency in CRM tools and fundraising platforms

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working within the charity or nonprofit sector
• Knowledge of grant writing and donor management
• Public speaking and presentation skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

• A relevant degree in fundraising, marketing, or a related field
• At least 2 years’ experience in community outreach or fundraising roles

Other Requirements:

• Flexibility to attend events and meetings outside standard hours
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
