The Talent Set are delighted to partner with a mission driven surrey-based charity on a fantastic Corporate & Community Fundraising Officer role. This position plays a vital part in expanding the organisation’s outreach, building meaningful relationships with local communities and businesses to drive income growth through creative and strategic fundraising activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with corporate organisations, securing sponsorships, charity of the year arrangements, payroll giving, and in-kind support.
  • Cultivate relationships with local businesses, including engaging them in volunteering and staff fundraising initiatives.
  • Prepare persuasive proposals and presentations to attract and retain corporate supporters.
  • Expand income streams from community groups, schools, faith organisations, and clubs across Surrey.
  • Act as an ambassador at local events, delivering talks and inspiring support for the charity’s work.
  • Support and guide DIY/community fundraisers by providing materials and strategic advice.
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate fundraising events, managing logistics, budgets, and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with the Fundraising and Communications teams to create engaging materials for social media, newsletters, and supporter updates.
  • Deliver exemplary supporter care, ensuring prompt acknowledgement of donations and nurturing long-term relationships.
  • Maintain accurate records using CRM systems, produce reports, and analyse data to monitor progress.
  • Represent the charity at external events and contribute to campaign initiatives to meet income targets.
  • Uphold organisational policies on safeguarding, health & safety, equality, and diversity.

Person Specification:
  • Surrey-based, holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle for region travel.
  • Experience in charity fundraising, particularly within corporate partnerships and community groups or similar experience.
  • Demonstrable success in generating income through corporate collaborations and grassroots fundraising.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, capable of building and sustaining diverse partnerships.
  • Adaptable and willing to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends.
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence in pitching, presenting, and engaging diverse audiences.
  • Well-organised, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems; familiarity with Salesforce is desirable.


What’s on Offer:
Salary: £32,000 - £34,000

Hybrid working – remote with regular travel across Surrey. Occasional travel to surrey- based office.
