Role Overview
The Talent Set are delighted to be partnering with a fantastic charity to recruit a Corporate Partnerships Officer. This exciting role will focus on managing and growing a portfolio of corporate supporters, delivering exceptional stewardship, and building long-term partnerships that generate significant income and mutual value. Working as part of a collaborative fundraising team, you will play a key role in developing relationships with businesses, driving engagement, and helping to achieve ambitious fundraising targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of corporate partners, acting as the primary point of contact and delivering outstanding account management.
- Build strong relationships with existing supporters to maximise engagement, retention, and income generation opportunities.
- Identify, cultivate, and secure new corporate partnership opportunities through effective networking, prospecting, and relationship building.
- Work collaboratively with partners to plan and deliver fundraising and engagement activities that achieve agreed objectives.
- Develop compelling partnership proposals and articulate the benefits of partnership opportunities to a range of stakeholders.
- Produce impact reports, stewardship communications, and supporter updates to demonstrate value and strengthen relationships.
- Contribute to the delivery and development of the corporate fundraising strategy and wider organisational objectives.
- Maintain accurate records using CRM systems, monitor partnership pipelines, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Represent the organisation at corporate meetings, networking events, and fundraising activities as required.
Person Specification
- Some experience within a fundraising position
- Ability to manage supporter or client relationships and deliver excellent stewardship.
- Strong relationship-building, networking, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Confident communicator with excellent presentation and influencing skills, both in person and remotely.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Commercially aware, target-driven, and motivated by achieving income growth through high-quality partnerships.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of charity fundraising practices and experience within the voluntary sector would be advantageous.
