Role Overview:
We are delighted to be partnering with a leading national charity to recruit an Interim CRM Consultant on a part-time basis (2 days per-week). This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced data professional to shape and transform how supporter and stakeholder data is managed, helping to drive fundraising success and service delivery.

You’ll take the lead on ensuring supporter and stakeholder data is managed strategically, effectively, and compliantly. You’ll review current CRM systems and processes, oversee a database cleanse, and embed improvements that will optimise supporter engagement, fundraising, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review CRM systems and implement improvements to support fundraising and marketing objectives.
  • Lead a data cleansing project, reconciling and updating historic records.
  • Support the development of automated supporter journeys and workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, PECR, and internal data protection policies.
  • Monitor CRM performance and provide insights to shape strategy.
  • Train and support colleagues to embed strong data practices.

Person Specification:
  • Experienced CRM professional with a background in the charity or non-profit sector.
  • Track record of leading CRM reconfigurations, migrations, or system improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of data protection legislation and its application within fundraising.
  • Skilled at explaining complex information clearly and supporting non-specialist colleagues.
  • Confident in managing data cleansing projects and integrations with email platforms.
  • Available immediately or at short notice for an interim contract until at least Christmas.

  • Remote (UK-based) with occasional travel.
  • A rate of £259 per-day PAYE or £306 via Umbrella.
