Role Overview:

The Talent Set are thrilled to be working with an established, purpose-driven organisation is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of high-profile digital projects and strategic public-facing programmes. This is a key role within a growing digital function, supporting the organisation’s wider engagement and impact objectives. Working within a multi-disciplinary, agile environment, you will play a central role in coordinating teams, partners and stakeholders to ensure digital initiatives are delivered effectively, on time and to a high standard.

As Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for embedding agile ways of working and enabling teams to perform at their best. You will work closely with product owners, product managers, internal specialists and external agencies to drive collaboration and delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and demos
  • Partnering closely with product owners and product managers to align delivery with strategic priorities
  • Facilitating collaboration across internal teams and external delivery partners
  • Championing agile best practice and coaching teams in agile methodologies
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture
  • Managing delivery documentation, reporting and governance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Tracking delivery against KPIs, using data and metrics to forecast and report progress
  • Managing timelines, risks, dependencies and delivery scope
  • Supporting testing, release and implementation phases
  • Defining effective ways of working and laying the foundations for long-term delivery capability
Key experience includes:
  • Proven experience in agile delivery management, ideally within digital product or B2C environments
  • A recognised agile qualification or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus
  • Experience working with digital agencies and cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms, web development lifecycles and digital delivery processes
  • Ability to work independently, managing priorities and deadlines effectively (including remote working)
  • An analytical, creative approach to problem-solving
Technical knowledge and skills:
  • Strong understanding of iterative development, user stories, backlog management and velocity tracking
  • Confident use of agile delivery tools and techniques
  • Experience coaching teams and building cohesion in multi-disciplinary settings
  • Solid grounding in digital product delivery and quality assurance
  • Familiarity with design thinking and user-centred design principles

What’s on offer

  • A day rate between £400-£550 a day 
  • A fully remote working pattern for a part-time 4 day a week role
  • A 3 month contract in a fantastic organisation, starting in January.
