Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a cohesive content strategy across digital channels, including social media, email, and the organisation’s website, to showcase their work and impact effectively.
  • Manage and grow social media platforms, produce engaging content, and analyse performance to optimise audience engagement.
  • Lead the creation, editing, and management of multimedia assets such as photos and videos using tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Canva for use in marketing channels.
  • Plan, build, and monitor email campaigns via Dot Digital, utilising segmentation, automation, and A/B testing to improve results.
  • Support the redevelopment and management of the organisation’s website, ensuring content remains accessible, relevant, and aligned with strategic aims.
  • Assist in delivering targeted campaigns to promote membership services and specific initiatives, including the Canine Health Scheme.
  • Use analytics tools including GA4 and Google Ads to evaluate campaign performance, deriving insights to inform future activities.
  • Stay informed of emerging digital marketing techniques and activities; recommend and implement innovative approaches to enhance outreach.
  • Support the organisation’s presence at industry events, including content creation and on-the-ground campaign activities.
Person Specification
  • Proven experience in delivering digital marketing campaigns within membership, charity, or NfP sectors, with a focus on engagement and growth.
  • Proficiency in creating compelling digital assets, including photos and videos, with experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of digital tools and platforms such as social media management, email marketing systems, CRM, and content management systems.
  • Knowledge of paid media campaigns, including Google Ads and Meta advertising.
  • Organised, with excellent project management skills enabling multiple campaigns to run smoothly simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data from tools like GA4 and Google Ads to inform marketing strategies.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to initiate and develop innovative ideas to enhance content and campaigns.
  • Strong written communication skills, capable of producing clear, engaging content for diverse audiences.
