Role Overview
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with a leading professional membership on a fantastic Digital Operations Manager role. This position oversees the member-facing digital estate, ensuring seamless content management, data accuracy, and performance measurement, supporting the organisation's strategic digital transformation within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the website’s publishing processes, including approval workflows, accessibility, and content structure across a migration of up to 160 pages.
Coordinate and standardise content contributed by multiple owners, ensuring consistency and quality without creating content directly.
Steward data quality across systems such as CRM, member database, and web analytics platforms, ensuring integration and accuracy for effective stakeholder insights.
Implement and optimise web measurement tools, prioritising data-driven improvements to enhance member engagement outcomes.
Oversee incident management and issue resolution, acting as the first responder to website faults and coordinating swift fixes.
Collaborate with external agencies and internal teams to shape demand, brief suppliers clearly, and maintain high standards throughout delivery phases.
Support a website replatform project, managing risks related to structure, redirects, and URL governance.
Maintain familiarity with data deployment, including tagging snippets and analytics setup, to monitor user behaviour.
Person Specification
Proven experience with CMS platforms (preferably Umbraco / .NET) and web publishing workflows.
Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and user journey optimisation for professional audiences.
Experience in website migrations, replatforms, and managing associated risks.
Working understanding of CRM systems like D365, data governance, and deployment of tracking tools.
Effective liaison skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders, with the ability to triage and shape project demands.
Analytical mindset, comfortable interpreting datasets, web analytics, and visitor data to inform initiatives.
Pragmatic approach with the ability to set and uphold standards, while negotiating priorities.
Commercial awareness of how digital assets add value to member organisations and business objectives.
What’s on Offer
Salary: £55,000–£65,000 on an initial 12 month fixed-term contract
