Role Overview: The Talent Set are delighted to partner with our client on a fantastic Events Consultant role. This interim position involves leading the planning and delivery of a series of hybrid events, ensuring smooth execution and maximum engagement for diverse audiences including policymakers, academics, and practitioners.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of event planning and logistics, including guest list development, speaker coordination, ticketing, and contractor liaison.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and effective event delivery, both in-person and online.
Develop and implement strategies for audience engagement and outreach to enhance event impact and broaden reach.
Communicate proactively with stakeholders, including senior leadership, policy teams, speakers, and attendees, before, during, and after events.
Oversee event marketing and pre/post-event content with the communications and digital teams.
Ensure accessibility and inclusivity are central to all event activities, aligning with the Foundation’s commitments.
Maintain accurate records of activities and insights within the CRM system, including attendee data management and reporting.
Contribute to planning of future events, collaborating with various teams to refine and expand the programme.
Person Specification:
Proven experience in organising and delivering diverse hybrid or in-person events, with excellent stakeholder management skills.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and manage event logistics effectively within tight timeframes.
Strong communication skills, capable of engaging a wide range of audiences and stakeholders.
Familiarity with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce, for managing attendee data and event reporting.
Demonstrated commitment to accessibility, equality, and inclusive practice in event management.
Organisational and planning skills to oversee comprehensive event operations, including working with AV and front-of-house teams.
Strategic thinking to advise on effective formats and engagement approaches for maximum impact.
What’s on Offer:
Salary: £144.65 basic pay + £18.22 holiday pay
Location: London – hybrid
Contract: Part-time role (3 days per week) until end of 2026
