External Affairs Coordinator

The Talent Set are delighted to partner with an amazing Membership Organisation on a fantastic External Affairs Coordinator role. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the organisation’s external engagement efforts, supporting their reputation and stakeholder relationships within the professional membership sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance stakeholder engagement and external communications.
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with partners, members, and external organisations.
  • Prepare and distribute briefings, reports, and other communication materials.
  • Support event planning and delivery, including webinars, forums, and conferences.
  • Monitor industry trends and gather intelligence relevant to the organisation's external positioning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
  • Assist in managing media relations and organisation of public initiatives.

Person Specification

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Good understanding of the professional membership landscape or similar sectors.
  • Ability to analyse information and communicate insights clearly.
  • Adaptability and commitment to continuous learning.
  • Experience with event coordination and external communications is desirable.

What’s on Offer

Salary: £110-£118 per day + daily holiday pay
