The Talent Set are delighted to be working with a well-established youth charity on the Isle of Wight to find their next part-time Fundraising Lead for either a 6 or 12-month contract.

This is a great opportunity to join the organisation at an important time, taking ownership of income generation across a range of fundraising streams and helping to build a sustainable and diverse funding base.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering a fundraising strategy and annual workplan across multiple income streams, including community fundraising, corporate partnerships, digital fundraising, individual giving, major donors and legacies
  • Building and nurturing a strong and diverse supporter base, ensuring excellent donor care and stewardship
  • Identifying and securing new fundraising opportunities, developing relationships with corporate partners, community groups and individual supporters
  • Leading the planning, delivery and evaluation of fundraising campaigns and appeals
  • Creating engaging supporter communications, including impact updates, stewardship journeys and campaign content
  • Supporting digital fundraising activity and contributing to press and PR, working collaboratively to ensure messaging is engaging and impactful
  • We are looking for someone with:
  • Proven experience delivering successful fundraising activity and meeting income targets
  • Experience across at least two fundraising streams, such as community, corporate, digital or individual giving
  • A hands-on approach, with the ability to balance strategic thinking with delivery
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
  • An interest in, or passion for, supporting young people and mental health
  • Experience within a youth or mental health charity or knowledge of the local funding landscape would be beneficial but is not essential

Whats' on offer

  • Location: Isle of Wight (Hybrid, 1–2 days per week on-site)
  • Day rate: up to £159.53 daily pay + £28.20 daily holiday pay (£187.72 total PAYE)
  • Part-time, 30 hours across 4 days
  • 6 or 12-month contract
