Role Overview
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with our client on a fantastic Head of Philanthropy and Partnership role. This position involves shaping and growing the organisation's philanthropic and partnership income streams through strategic planning, relationship development, and enhancing stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for philanthropy and partnership growth that builds on early successes.
- Identify opportunities for sustainable income generation, particularly focusing on high-net-worth individuals and long-term donors.
- Strengthen relationships with existing supporters, including volunteer networks and board members, encouraging their active involvement in fundraising activities.
- Explore new fundraising avenues regionally and potentially nationally, ensuring a proactive approach to outreach and engagement.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align fundraising objectives with organisational goals and support organisational development.
- Establish systems and processes to manage relationships efficiently, track progress, and ensure continuous improvement.
- Lead efforts to build a culture of trust and giving within stakeholder groups, fostering openness and participation.
- Support the organisation in diversifying income sources and maximise both philanthropic and corporate engagement opportunities.
Person Specification
- Proven experience in developing and delivering successful fundraising strategies, particularly within philanthropy and partnership development.
- Demonstrated ability to build and nurture relationships with high-value donors, supporters, and stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging volunteers, board members, and senior leaders.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and driving activity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring confidence and fostering trust.
- Ability to develop innovative approaches while maintaining focus on sustainability and long-term growth.
- Experience working within or understanding of the charity sector, with a good grasp of regional and national fundraising landscapes.
What’s on Offer
Salary: £60,000 - £67,000
