We are working with a charity client who is looking for a HR and Office Administrator to join their team for a 12 month contract starting as soon as possible.
Key responsibilities The HR and Office Administrator will work closely with the Senior HR Manager to provide advice and support to managers and staff on a full range of employee lifecycle activities. This includes assisting with the implementation of policies and processes, managing HR systems and data, and providing advice on HR matters such as probation and performance management. The role also involves managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from creating recruitment packs to organising inductions and managing leavers.
In addition to HR duties, the administrator will be responsible for the smooth operation of the office, which includes health and safety, liaising with the building's facilities management, and providing general administrative support. This includes complex international travel arrangements, diary management, and acting as a point of contact for business partners.
Person Specifications The ideal candidate will have previous administrative experience in either office management or HR. They will need to be a people person with a flexible and positive approach to their work, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are vital. Experience with a HR system and a data management tool like Salesforce is also essential. The successful applicant should be a highly organised self-starter, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
What’s on Offer:
A full-time salary of £26,000
A 12 month contract starting as soon as possible
Hybrid working, two days a week in the London office with three days from home.
