Interim Events Manager

We’re working with a well-known UK charity to recruit an experienced Interim Events Manager to lead the delivery of a busy programme of fundraising and organisational events.

This is a hands-on role managing two flagship fundraising events, alongside the charity’s awards ceremony and initial planning for its 2027 events programme. You’ll oversee everything from project plans and budgets through to table and team sales, sponsorship, auctions and raffles, ensuring supporters and partners receive an excellent experience.

You’ll also work closely with senior volunteers and manage an Events Officer.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience managing a programme of events within the charity or commercial sector

  • Strong fundraising event delivery experience

  • Experience generating income through event sales, sponsorship, auctions or raffles

  • Excellent project and budget management skills

  • Experience working with senior stakeholders or volunteers

  • CRM database experience

  • Previous line management experience

 

What’s on offer

  • Full-time interim contract until 31 October 2026.

  • Hybrid working, with approximately two days per week in the central London office.

  • The opportunity to lead several high-profile events for a well-known UK charity.

  • An immediate start is preferred.
