We are currently working with a reputable health membership body helping them recruit for an Interim Head of Communications and Marketing. This is a 12-month fixed term contract starting mid-October time. Please get in touch if this sounds interesting. Some of the key responsibilities include:
Leading the operations and management helping develop the organisations communications and marketing functions
Ensuring marketing and communications is based on audience insight and evaluated against key metrics
Lead the planning and delivery of proactive and responsive marketing and communications across all channels – earned, owned and paid
Identify and manage reputational risks, advising on and enacting mitigation strategies
Be a proactive and collaborative member of the directorate, embodying the organisations values and leading by example
Support on commercial development and opportunities for promotion, including contribution to competitor analysis, assessments of best practice, and future opportunities
Provide strategic messaging for comms and campaigns leading from the front.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
Worked with a health membership or similar environment
Excellent experience of stakeholder engagement (internal and external)
Strong writing skills
Experience in managing corporate communications, including media relations, overseeing digital communications, including website content, email marketing, social media strategy and use of analytics to drive engagement.
