Role Overview
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with our client on a fantastic International Student Recruitment Officer role. This position supports international student recruitment by developing overseas relationships, guiding prospective applicants and contributing to market activity. The role combines stakeholder engagement, data-informed planning, event coordination and occasional international travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships with prospective students, recruitment agents, overseas institutions and other stakeholders.
- Provide clear guidance on programmes, entry requirements and application processes.
- Support recruitment targets through events, campaigns, partner activity and student engagement.
- Monitor application, offer and enrolment data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Research international education markets, competitor activity and recruitment developments.
- Coordinate fairs, exhibitions, overseas visits, partner meetings and virtual events.
- Prepare market reports, event evaluations and recruitment performance updates.
- Support compliant admissions activity and contribute to process improvements.
Person Specification
- Experience in international student recruitment, higher education, admissions, education marketing or a related setting.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing relationships, meeting deadlines and working towards measurable outcomes.
- Cultural awareness and confidence working across different international contexts.
- Professional and adaptable approach to representing an organisation at events and meetings.
- Knowledge of UK/International student visa requirements and compliance processes is desirable.
- Experience managing budgets, working with overseas education partners or using digital marketing and customer relationship systems would be beneficial.
- Additional language skills relevant to international markets would be an advantage.
