Role Overview
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with our client on a fantastic Legacy & In Memory Manager role. This position involves developing and implementing strategic initiatives for legacy marketing and in-memory fundraising, contributing to income growth and supporter retention within a leading regional charity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and execution of legacy marketing and in-memory fundraising strategies to achieve organisational income targets.
- Serve as the organisation’s subject matter expert on legacy administration and in-memory giving, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to colleagues.
- Manage all aspects of legacy casework, including complex and sensitive cases, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and best practice standards.
- Oversee data management, reporting, and analysis to generate insights, optimise processes, and support forecasting and financial planning.
- Collaborate with various teams to identify fundraising opportunities, maximise supporter engagement across multiple channels, and deliver impactful events and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, demonstrating high emotional intelligence and resilience.
- Promote a proactive, respectful approach to donor and supporter interactions, maintaining effective communication throughout the supporter journey.
Person Specification
- Experience managing legacy or in-memory fundraising programmes, ideally within the charity sector.
- Proven ability to handle complex casework with discretion and sensitivity.
- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory considerations relating to legacy and in-memory giving.
- Experience in legacy administration, including liaising with relevant stakeholders and professionals involved in estate and legal processes.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.
- Analytical mindset with experience in data management, reporting, and insight generation.
- Self-motivated, independent, and target-driven with a proactive approach to workflow.
- Demonstrates emotional intelligence, resilience, and professionalism in sensitive situations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and external stakeholders.
What’s on Offer
Salary: £40,000 - £47,000
