Role Overview:
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with our client on a fantastic Marketing and Communications Officer role. This opportunity involves overseeing and supporting a variety of communications and marketing activities within the charity sector, ensuring impactful engagement and effective campaign delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate media monitoring and outreach activities, including analysing coverage and supporting targeted engagement efforts.
  • Assist with organising logistics for large-scale events, such as a major World Cup celebration at a prominent venue, ensuring smooth planning and activation on the day.
  • Support campaign logistics and communication efforts for initiatives including sports campaigns and educational programmes.
  • Manage visits and events by organising schedules, handling consent and media arrangements, and preparing relevant collateral.
  • Provide social media and content support, including drafting posts, creating content, and managing communication outputs during busy periods or holidays.
  • Contribute to general communications tasks, including drafting messages, updating materials, and supporting team initiatives.
  • Bring practical, hands-on support while applying sound judgement to enhance overall communication effectiveness.

Person Specification:
  • Experience in communications, marketing, or event coordination within a charity or similar environment.
  • Ability to organise and manage logistics for events and campaigns with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Confident in social media management and content creation.
  • Practical, proactive approach with the ability to adapt to varied tasks and priorities.
  • Effective team collaborator with good organisational and problem-solving skills.

What’s on Offer:
Salary: £100 – £118 per day + daily holiday

Location: London – Hybrid
Contract: Part-time, 2 month contract
