Marketing Manager – Health Charity
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with a reputable health charity on a fantastic Marketing Manager role. In this pivotal position, the successful candidate will lead strategic marketing initiatives that enhance engagement, build brand awareness, and support the charity’s mission through impactful campaigns and audience insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies aligned with organisational priorities, driving campaigns that inspire action and deepen supporter engagement.
- Build and champion a ‘hub and spoke’ marketing model, empowering colleagues across departments to deliver consistent, high-quality marketing activities.
- Manage the marketing planning calendar, coordinating with Communications, Brand, and Data teams to optimise messaging and target audiences effectively.
- Lead audience segmentation efforts, ensuring content and communications are tailored to supporter journeys at the right touchpoints.
- Define objectives, KPIs, and channel strategies for flagship campaigns across various functions, including Policy, Support Services, and Income Generation.
- Oversee the evolution and promotion of the organisation’s ‘Thumbprint’ magazine to ensure continued relevance and audience focus.
- Translate organisational strategies into compelling supporter communications, overseeing production schedules and workflows.
- Manage and develop the Marketing Coordinator, fostering a collaborative and creative team environment.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop annual marketing budgets aligned with organisational goals and ensure optimal resource utilisation.
- Shape integrated briefing and project management processes, promoting clarity and cross-functional teamwork.
- Monitor campaign performance, report on outcomes, and continuously optimise marketing activities for effectiveness and impact.
Person Specification
- Proven experience managing broad marketing projects and executing integrated campaigns.
- Strong expertise in audience segmentation, profiling, and targeting strategies.
- Experience leading small teams and enhancing workflows and operational processes.
- Ability to develop trusted relationships with colleagues at all levels and across functions.
- Capable of providing creative leadership through workshops and presentations.
- Excellent brand management skills with strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
- Outstanding organisational and project management skills, with the capacity to prioritise effectively and maintain composure under pressure.
- Comfortable managing marketing budgets in the five- to six-figure range.
- Skilled at juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to professional growth and learning.
