Role Overview: The Talent Set is thrilled to be working with an established national organisation to recruit a Marketing Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected professional membership organisation and support the delivery of marketing campaigns that promote the value and benefits of their membership offer, CPD programmes, products, services, and events.
As part of a supportive and collaborative marketing team, you will work closely with Marketing Managers and colleagues to curate and deliver campaigns that drive member engagement and retention. This role is ideal for a proactive and creative marketing professional with strong digital and content production skills looking to further their career within a purpose-led environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver marketing activities across membership, CPD, and other workstreams to promote products, services, and events effectively.
Build and schedule email communications for programmes, services, and events.
Draft engaging copy for marketing campaigns, bulletins, and emails.
Execute digital marketing activity including social media advertising and paid search advertising.
Design and create marketing assets for digital and print channels, including video content, in line with brand guidelines.
Support campaign planning and provide key metrics to review campaign performance.
Ensure the Member Value Proposition is clearly communicated to drive engagement and retention.
Contribute to internal marketing meetings, workshops, and administrative support as required.
Uphold consistent brand representation across all marketing and communications outputs.
Ensure digital accessibility best practices and GDPR compliance are maintained at all times.
Person Specification:
Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
Experience working within a professional body, membership organisation, or similar environment.
Proven experience delivering marketing and communication plans.
Hands-on experience in email marketing production (DotDigital experience desirable).
Experience of social media management and PPC marketing (e.g. Google Ads).
Strong creative design skills with understanding of SEO best practice.
Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
Proficiency in email marketing platforms, social media channels, and digital content creation.
Knowledge of PPC platforms and digital marketing techniques to drive measurable success.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to think creatively and work autonomously within a team environment.
Proactive, flexible, and responsive to changing priorities.
What’s on Offer:
A hybrid working pattern with 2 days per-week in the Central London office.
A rate of up to £140.32 per-day + £21.05 daily holiday for the successful candidate.
An initial 3–4-month contract with the potential to go permanent.
