Marketing Officer

Role Overview

The Talent Set are delighted to partner with our client on a fantastic Interim Marketing Officer role (Part Time). This part-time temporary opportunity will support campaign planning, audience engagement and event promotion across a significant anniversary year. The successful candidate will help shape timely communications for key events until the end of the year. 

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns from briefing through to launch and review.
• Create clear, engaging copy for digital channels, social media and campaign materials.
• Schedule and manage social media activity using relevant publishing tools.
• Support paid advertising across platforms including Meta.
• Research audiences and use insight to inform messaging and campaign activity.
• Coordinate campaign timelines, event promotion and supporting communications.
• Monitor performance and provide practical recommendations for future activity.
• Contribute to anniversary-year messaging across public-facing campaigns.

Person Specification

• Experience in marketing, campaign coordination, copywriting and social media management.
• Practical knowledge of paid social advertising and Meta Business Suite.
• Ability to translate audience insight into accessible, engaging content.
• Organised approach to managing deadlines, multiple priorities and campaign details.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with good attention to detail.
• Experience working in the charity or not-for-profit sector is preferred.
• Familiarity with public events, seasonal programmes or anniversary campaigns would be beneficial.
• Comfortable working independently within a flexible, hybrid arrangement.

1-2 days a month in the office (flexible)
£146.96 basic pay + 29.25 holiday pay / £207.93 Umbrella
