Membership Manager

The Talent Set is delighted to partner with the Loan Market Association (LMA) on a fantastic new Membership Manager role. This is an exciting opportunity to join the LMA in its 30th anniversary year and through a period of strategic growth.

This position is vital for fostering strong relationships with members, enhancing member engagement, and driving the growth of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve engagement and retention with LMA members
  • Co-lead on the CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics 365), ensuring that in-progress development work results in an improved system that meets the needs of the organisation
  • Own CRM training for all users, ensuring that the CRM is actively used by all LMA staff members
  • Oversee customer service
  • Develop membership communication in line with the value proposition for specific sub-sets of members e.g. law firms, banks, technology suppliers
  • Lead the onboarding process for new members and maintain regular touchpoints with existing members
  • Monitor engagement levels, and design tailored strategies to reinforce the value of membership
  • Track and report on key membership metrics such as renewal, retention, and engagement rates, using insights to identify risks and opportunities
  • Contribute to the annual renewals process and follow up with firms on late or outstanding contributions
  • Support the Membership Executive in the development and execution of their role

Person Specification
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills and experience of working with data to produce accurate reporting with actionable insights
  • Proficiency in the use of CRM systems (knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage)
  • Experience of using AI tools to improve processes and productivity (knowledge of Copilot is an advantage)
  • Collaborative and team driven approach
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and concepts to a broad set of audiences
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work under your own initiative
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
