Senior Philanthropy & Principal Gifts Manager:
Salary: £52,000-£54,000
Location: London – 2 days per week in the office
Contract: Permanent, full time (35 hours per week)

The Talent Set are delighted to partner with Breast Cancer Now to find a Senior Philanthropy & Principal Gifts Manager. With a bold ambition to transform high-value income over the next five years, including the launch of a landmark £50 million Campaign, this is a pivotal time to join a talented High Value Partnerships & Campaigns team.
This role will lead the cultivation and stewardship of ultra-high and high-net-worth supporters, working alongside the Head of Philanthropy & Principal Gifts, the CEO, trustees and Campaign Board. The successful candidate will deliver best-in-class donor engagement, create tailored stewardship plans, and inspire new and existing supporters to make significant, long-term commitments.

What you’ll do
  • Identify, cultivate and steward a portfolio of new ultra-high and high-net-worth prospects, building robust long-term relationships and securing multi-year six and seven figure gifts.
  • Develop compelling proposals, cases for support and impact reports.
  • Partner with senior leadership, trustees and the Campaign Board to maximise networks and influence.
  • Shape donor engagement strategies and deliver high-impact experiences for principal supporters.
  • Collaborate across departments to align donor interests with organisational priorities.
About you
  • Proven success in major donor fundraising, with a track record of personally securing gifts at a 6-figure level.
  • Strong strategic thinker, skilled in creating long-term donor engagement plans.
  • Experience working with senior volunteers, fundraising boards or high-level committee to facilitate peer-to-peer approaches.
  • Entrepreneurial, collaborative and motivated, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
