Role Overview:
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with our client on a fantastic Social Media Specialist role. The successful candidate will manage and develop social media content and strategies, enhancing the organisation’s reputation while engaging diverse audiences across various channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, create, and manage engaging organic and paid social media content tailored to different platforms and audiences, ensuring accessibility and usability standards are met.
Oversee the organisation’s social media channels and advise key stakeholders on effective social media tactics, including senior leaders.
Develop and maintain relationships with social media influencers and collaborate with external partners to amplify messaging.
Write, edit, and publish content across digital platforms, including websites and social channels, ensuring consistency with organisational style and tone.
Produce or commission visual content such as videos and infographics; support live online events like podcasts and broadcasts.
Analyse social media performance metrics to optimise content and engagement strategies, using insights to inform future campaigns.
Repurpose content for multiple channels, monitor conversations, evaluate coverage, and generate insights through social listening tools.
Act as an authoritative voice for the organisation, providing clear and credible communications in media and social media environments; participate in a 24-hour media on-call rota.
Person Specification:
Demonstrable experience in developing, executing, and evaluating social media campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, their audience dynamics, and best practices for organic and paid content.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to craft accessible, engaging content.
Experience working with media, influencers, and stakeholders to amplify campaigns and messages.
Ability to analyse data and insights to inform and optimise social media activity.
Effective organisational skills, capable of managing multiple projects with tight deadlines independently and within a team.
Confident in representing the organisation’s voice and managing reputational issues online.
What’s on Offer:
Salary: £162.12 per day + £24.32 daily holiday
Location: Hybrid – London
Contract: 6 months
