Role Overview
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with a reputable public sector client looking for an interim Strategic Communications Lead. This position involves developing and managing communication strategies for a complex organisation, ensuring messages resonate with diverse audiences while supporting the organisation’s strategic aims.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement communication plans aligned with the organisation’s objectives.
- Develop engaging content tailored to different audiences, ensuring accessibility and clarity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to enhance communication effectiveness and outcomes.
- Manage projects proactively, setting up and leading teams, monitoring progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Identify opportunities for strategic communication in line with organisational priorities.
- Evaluate the impact of communication activities, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to internal planning processes and integrate communications initiatives accordingly.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships to support the organisation’s reputation and strategic goals.
Person Specification
- Experience managing strategic communication projects within complex or high-profile organisations.
- Strong skills in content creation, message development, and channel selection.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across diverse teams.
- Proven project management capability, with experience in overseeing multiple initiatives from inception to delivery.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Adaptable and proactive, with a problem-solving approach.
- Knowledge of evaluation methods to measure communication impact.
What’s on Offer
Salary: 45,000-55,000 (inside IR35 day rate equivalent)
