Role Overview:
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with our client on a fantastic Supporter Care Administrator role. This permanent position provides first-class supporter care, ensuring donations are processed accurately, supporter records are maintained in line with data protection requirements, and queries are handled with care and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a friendly first point of contact for supporter enquiries received by phone, email, and post
Send timely, appropriate thank you communications to donors
Maximise Gift Aid opportunities and support correct supporter journeys
Handle supporter queries, complaints, and issues professionally, resolving or escalating when required
Process donations in line with established procedures (including regular giving) and investigate discrepancies
Maintain accurate supporter records, ensuring strict confidentiality and GDPR compliance
Support general administration tasks, including mail handling and assisting with income/expenditure processes
Support fundraising events and meetings as required
Person Specification:
Experience in a customer or supporter-facing role, with a calm, courteous communication style
Demonstrable experience handling queries and resolving issues, with confidence to escalate appropriately
Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry, record keeping, and numeracy
Working knowledge of fundraising concepts such as Gift Aid and regular giving (or willingness to learn quickly)
IT literate with strong proficiency in Word and Excel, and experience using databases
Understanding of GDPR, consent management, and confidentiality in a sensitive environment
Ability to prioritise effectively and manage a demanding workload against deadlines
Collaborative approach with the ability to work well with others
Clear written and spoken English, including confidence drafting supporter communications
