The Talent Set are excited to be working with The Children’s Society to find their new Supporter Care Manager.

This role offers a flexible working environment with the expectation to be in their London office 2 days a week. The salary for this vacancy is £37,646-£41,189 per annum dependant on experience. 

The Supporter Care team at The Children’s Society is a dynamic, public facing team that supports all of the amazing donors, fundraisers, volunteers and campaigners who believe in restoring hope for thousands of the most vulnerable children in the UK, and building a society that works for them.

We are looking for a friendly, positive team player with experience of management in a customer service background to play a leading role in delivering our activity.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading, motivating and inspiring the team to meet the day-to-day activities of supporter care.
  • Ensuring donations are processed accurately and thanked within agreed timeframes and leading on reporting on this to senior staff.
  • Ensuring emails, telephone calls and other queries received across multi channels including social media are responded to within agreed time frames.
  • Working independently and alongside the Head of Supporter Experience on projects to continually improve Supporter experience.
  • Ensure all activity is compliant with charity law & fundraising regulations.

Person specification:

  • Experience of managing a customer service team or similar
  • Excellent customer care through active listening
  • Experience of working to service level agreements or within a targets driven environment
  • Verbal, Digital & Written Communication skills
  • Knowledge of CRM systems eg Raisers Edge / Dynamics
  • Reporting and Insight  
  • Fundraising Regulation
