The Talent Set are delighted to be working with a fantastic health charity to recruit their Trusts and Foundations Manager.
The charity offers a flexible working environment, with hybrid working, and an expectation to work from their office in Kent 2 days per week.

Reporting into the Deputy Director of Fundraising and Communications, the Trusts and Foundations Manager will lead on the development and delivery of the charity’s Trusts and Foundations income stream where you will focus on growing the pipeline, writing compelling applications and funding reports whilst maintaining excellent relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of the trusts and foundations income stream in line with strategic objectives and income targets
  • Create compelling and innovative funding proposals and applications to existing and new trusts and foundations
  • Ensure timely and impactful reporting in line with the funder’s requirements
  • Collaborate with the DD of Fundraising and Communications to shape and deliver the trusts and foundations strategy to ensure long-term sustainability
  • Grow the trusts and foundations pipeline with high-quality research and prospecting to identify and maximise new opportunities
  • Deliver a robust stewardship programme to ensure excellent relationships with established and new donors
  • Contribute to the planning and monitoring of monthly income and expenditure
  • Building working relationships with teams across Demelza, identify opportunities for funding and ensure impact is at the heart of every piece of communication.
  • Provide effective line management to the Trusts and Foundations Executive

Person Specification:
 
  • Demonstratable experience of working in a fundraising team, ideally at management level
  • Experience of working in trusts and foundations or writing charitable applications
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills
  • Proven experience of relationship management
  • Demonstratable experience of working across teams and departments
  • Experience of working with a CRM database
  • Line management experience
  • Innovative and creative, capable of spotting new opportunities
  • Ability to work well on own initiative and as part
