The Talent Set are partnering with a charity client to recruit an experienced Interim Marketing & Communications Manager on a 6-8 week contract. Starting immediately, you'll provide hands-on support across a range of communications and engagement projects, helping to deliver integrated campaigns, engaging content and key organisational initiatives.
This is a varied role suited to an experienced marketing and communications professional who enjoys balancing strategic planning with day-to-day delivery. There are no line management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop project and programme communications plans, including key messaging, press releases and stakeholder engagement activity.
Plan and deliver integrated marketing and communications campaigns across digital, print, social media and events to increase awareness and engagement.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to develop and approve messaging, communications plans and campaign activity.
Monitor, analyse and report on campaign performance, using insights to optimise marketing and communications activity.
Create engaging content across a range of channels, including copywriting, simple graphic design and basic video editing.
Lead on or support standalone projects, including the launch of a new asset management system, development of new engagement products, stewardship communications, audience segmentation projects and messaging framework development.
Work with external agencies and third-party suppliers where required.
About You
You'll have:
Previous marketing and communications experience gained within the charity or not-for-profit sector.
Experience developing and delivering integrated marketing and communications plans.
Strong copywriting and content creation skills across a variety of channels.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organisation.
Experience analysing campaign performance and using data to optimise communications activity.
Confidence creating digital content, including simple graphic design and basic video editing.
The ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise competing deadlines and work independently.
