Philanthropy Officer
Location: London (hybrid working, 2 days per week in London office)
Salary: £32,000-£34,000 dependant on experience
Contract: Permanent, full time (35 hours per week)

The Talent Set are delighted to be partnering with Breast Cancer Now to recruit a proactive and detail-driven Philanthropy Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing high value fundraising team at a pivotal moment, as the organisation launches a major £60m campaign and significantly scales its philanthropic income.
This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in a growing philanthropy team, supporting major donor fundraising and helping to deliver exceptional experiences for some of the most generous supporters in the UK.

The Role

This role sits at the heart of the high-performing Philanthropy team, providing essential support to senior fundraisers and helping to ensure the smooth and effective running of our philanthropy programme. Key duties include:
  • Keeping donor data accurate, insightful and compliant
  • Supporting the delivery of major donor relationships and stewardship
  • Maintaining strong systems and processes to enable fundraising success
  • Helping shape a professional, high-quality experience for donors
The successful candidate will thrive on bringing structure to complexity and take pride in getting the detail right - whether that’s preparing high-quality briefings, coordinating meetings, or drafting thoughtful donor communications.

About You

You’ll be someone who takes real pride in organisation, detail and delivering high-quality work, with:
  • Experience in fundraising administration, CRM management or a similar role
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence using databases and maintaining high data standards
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Motivation to support others and enable team success
  • A genuine passion for the mission and impact of Breast Cancer Now
